The port of Astypalea is located in Agios Andreas, about five kilometers from Chora, the main center of the island. The port has various accommodation nearby as many of the ferries arrive and depart at night. The port has connections to the ports of the Cyclades and the Dodecanese islands. To reach the center of the island you can use public transport, there is a frequent service that departs from the exit of the port.
