Castellammare di Stabia is an ancient port in the Gulf of Naples. For centuries the port has played an important role in the area, so much so that the city developed around the port area. Today the port of Castellammare di Stabia offers connections for passengers travelling to other islands in the Gulf of Naples and provides commercial docking and shipyards.
