The port of Koufonissi provides regular connections to the Cyclades archipelago and Piraeus. It offers services that are not available elsewhere on the island, such as the water and gasoline for private boats that land dock here. The port is a few hundred meters from the town of Chora, so no transport is necessary and you can get around the island on foot. During the summer there are daily connections to the beaches of Koufonissi Sopra and Sotto.
