Port of Helsinki

The port of Helsinki is the largest port in Europe for freight and passenger traffic. It is a vast port and offers services of all kinds and generates lots of wealth and jobs for the country.

There are many piers and areas of the port, including the South Harbor, Katajanokka Harbor, West Harbor, Hernesaari Cruise Pier, Vuosaari Harbor, Port of Loviisa, Kantvik Harbor, Helsinki's coal quays. The passenger terminals are well connected to each other by tram and shuttle service.

The Katajanokka terminal offers in-house catering services, luggage storage, currency exchange and ticket offices. The terminal is connected to the train station by trams 5 and 4, get off at the Ylioppilastalo stop and continue on foot to the station along Citykäytävä.

The Kamppi bus terminal is about 3 km away and can be reached by trams 5 and 4, until the Lasipalatsi stop, continuing on foot towards the Kamppi shopping center kävellään. Helsinki Airport is just over 20 kilometers away and is connected by trams 5 and 4, the stop is Ylioppilastalo. Then walk along Citykäytävä until you reach the train station; from here you take either the 615 or 615T bus or I or P train.

West Terminal 1 is located in the West Harbor and mainly welcomes passengers going to and coming from Tallin. Inside the passenger terminal there are cafes and restaurants, bag deposit, ATM and  information desks. To reach this terminal from the train station just take trams 7 or 6T and get off at Rautatientori.

The Kamppi bus terminal is 2.5 kilometers away and can be reached by tram 7 all the way to the Kampintori stop. The airport of the city is about 24 km from the terminal, connected by tram 7 to the Rautatientori stop and from there take a bus either bus 615 or 615T or train I.

Terminal 2 West is located at the end of the West Harbor, where there are all kinds of services such as ticket offices for the companies that depart from here. Terminal 2 is easily reachable by various means following the directions above for Terminal 1 West.

The Makasiini terminal is located in the south port and is intended for fast connections to Tallinn, where there are various restaurants and bars. The train station can be reached by trams 2 and 3, getting off at the Rautatieasema stop.

The Kamppi bus terminal can be reached by tram 2 all the way to the Kammpi stop, then continue on foot to the Kammpi shopping center. The airport is 20 kilometers away and can be reached by trams 2 and 3 as far as Rautatieasema, from here you can board the bus 615 or 615T.

The Terminal Olympia is located in the South Port and provides regular connections to Stockholm, inside the terminal there is a service for luggage storage, an ATM and a restaurant. The connections to the train station, which is about two kilometers away, is via trams 2 and 3, stopping at Rautatieasema.

The Kamppi bus terminal can be reached by tram number 2 and Helsinki Airport can be reached by trams 2 and 3 to Rautatieasema and then by bus 615 or 615T.

Hansa Terminal is located in the Hansa port at embarkation place B, from this terminal is for those boarding with their car, from here there are the vehicle checks areas, then you will be directed to the departure terminal for boarding.

For connections to the train station, take the number 90 bus to the Vuosaari metro station, then take the metro to the train station. The number 90A bus goes as far as the train station. Take the same bus to reach the Kamppi bus terminal or take the metro to Kamppi. From the airport, you first reach the train station and then take the train I or P.
