The sea crossing between Schinoussa and Syros is temporarily not in operation by ferry operators in partnership with NetFerry.
The main port for Schinoussa is located in the village of Mersini, in the western part of the island. The natural harbor is renowned for being one of the best moorings in the Aegean for small boats and yachts. Schinoussa is connected to Piraeus and other major Cycladic ports. The port is just under a kilometer from the center Chora along an easily walkable street. Coming from Athens Aiport, Schinoussa port can be reached on ferry from Piraeus.
