Terracina is connected with Pontine Islands (Ponza and Ventotene). The between Terracina and any other destination ferry line is not available at the moment by ferry operators connected to NetFerry.
The port of Terracina on the Lazio coast provides connections to the nearby Pontine islands. It was built in the late 1700s at the request of a pope, Gregory XVI. It was finished in the middle of the next century with the construction of another pier.

How to reach the port of Terracina
To reach the port of Terracina from Rome by train, the train leaves from Termini station every hour and arrives in Terracina after an hour and a half. The port is two kilometers from the station, and connected by bus. By car, take the ring road to exit 26 towards SS148, the Pontina. Continue for 95 kilometers to the Terracina exit, follow the directions for the port, taking via Manzoni and then via Molo. Near the port there are guarded secure lots to leave the car.
